Love the portrait collar, but the colors are too dark for a late summer wedding. While beautiful, it would also need alteration in the bodice and collar for short waisted me.

As stepmom - I wanted a dress for a fall wedding that wouldn’t be a “mother of the bride” dress. The length on the dress, and the detail in the fabric are perfect for keeping it formal without going over the top.
I measured and ordered the dress to fit my biggest area (rib cage) and will need a little alteration as I usually will wear a petite for my height. (I went with the 14)
The dress came packaged beautifully and the fabric is even more beautiful in person than online.
The bride approved!!
